The Challenge
Rail transport behaves differently than road transport. Standard transport management software assumes linear highway dispatches. Rail relies on locomotive assignments, shunting, rolling stock, complex station tracking, loading tolerances for heavy steel products, and tightly synchronized customer demands. Qube needed a custom system that understood rail logic from the track up.
